Jimmy Howell, a veteran in his fourth tour, knew differently based on his ability.
Virginia’s punter booted three times on Saturday in the 37-point win, with his longest going 45 yards.
Expect better things, however, if Howell performs to his own expectations.
“I think I could have done better,“ Howell said. “I told Coach [Anthony] Poindexter and I told the guys they did a fantastic job and that I’ve got them next week.“
The Cavaliers travel to Indiana (0-1) on Saturday.
