Chase banks it: Virginia 10, Richmond (4th Qtr.)
Richmond marched down the field and appeared primed and ready to score its first touchdown, but a penalty on a play that provided a pinball-like touchdown recovery on a fumble spoiled it. On the play, Richmond QB Eric Ward was crushed and left the game for a brief moment. He did return and threw an interception. Wahoo CB Chase Minnifield came up with the ball, but others were in the area. ... It’s time to run out the clock.
