Hagans inks 2-year deal with Chiefs
Marques Hagans, a star quarterback at Virginia, was signed to the Kansas City Chiefs 53-man roster earlier today.
Hagans, known as “Biscuit,“ was in training camp with St. Louis Rams, but was released at the end of August.
Days later, Hagans joined the Chiefs practice squad.
Hagans played in four games with the Rams last year, catching eight passes for 101 yards.
The Newport News native prepped one season at Fork Union Military Academy before arriving at UVa.
Hagans is reunited with former UVa offensive lineman Brandon Albert, who taken by the Chiefs in the first round this year.
