Three and ugly: Clemson 10, Virginia 3 (3rd Qtr.)
After forcing Clemson to punt after three plays, Virginia did nothing on offense. On third down, QB Marc Verica tried to scramble out of the pocket to his left, but he was gobbled up with ease. Add another couple of ping pong balls in the Jameel Sewell will start next year lottery. ... How could I forget to mention the play of the first half. Virginia cornerback Ras-I Dowling was all but headed to the end zone with an interception return late in the half. Sadly for the sophomore, he dropped a pass that hit him in the hands. Dowling has still played a great game thus far.
