Turning it over: Wake 7, UVa 0 (1st Qtr.)

Posted on 11/08 at 04:53 PM

Wake Forest entered fourth in the nation in turnover margin and appears ready to finish in better position. ... Wake did not do anything with the fumble thanks to a clipping penalty. ... Virginia survived a scare and will take over at its 20-yard line. ... Just so you know, Cedric Peerman had not lost a fumble in 339 carries prior to last week’s miscue.

Cedrick Peerman: do you think he’ll make an NFL roster? He must be pretty good to keep Keith Payne on the bench ALL of the time. Payne was a great college prospect. Peerman’s career at UVa has been very ordinary.
