Virginia is not KO’d yet: Wake 28, UVa 17 (4th Qtr.)

Virginia used only 3:25 off the clock to score its second touchdown. This game is getting interesting - finally. Props to Marc Verica for remaining positive and seeing that there were open spots on the field to deliver passes to. ... I take back what I said about running on pass plays in the red zone. Virginia just can’t run block. The boys in the trench can pass block at times. ... Virginia CB Ras-I Dowling returned to the field. ... My sources tell me that Jared Detrick is out two months with his injury. That would be a season-ending injury if Virginia does not play in a bowl game. ... After getting yet another three-and-out, Virginia gets the ball back with 6:36 left. The Hoos have all three timeouts left and need to score a touchdown, get a two-point conversion and kick a field goal. They would have had the two-point conversion covered, but a penalty forced the Cavs to kick a 30-yard extra-point on their drive.
