Virginia to Chick-fil-A Bowl
CBS Sports is reporting that Virginia will play in the Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta and that Virginia Tech will play in the Sugar Bowl.
Both are a switch from what officials at the two schools had expected. UVa appeared slotted for the Music City Bowl in Nashville and the Hokies, losers of Saturday’s night’s ACC Championship game to Clemson, seemed Atlanta-bound. However, CBS Sports is reporting otherwise.
The Chick-fil-A Bowl is set for Saturday, Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Georgia Dome (ESPN) against an opponent from the SEC.
