Deals at J. Crew Clearance Locations

Text size: small | medium | large

Get a head start on your spring shopping without breaking the bank! Make a short trip to Lynchburg to the J. Crew Clearance Stores. There are two locations to check out—one in the same location as the factory (at 25 Millrace Drive), and the other in the Wyndhurst development at 101 Northwynd Circle Street. You’ll find amazing markdowns on dresses, jackets, shoes (including boots), tops and more. A sample of the steals from this weekend: cashmere-lined leather gloves for $25 (regularly $98), a pretty white eyelet dress—perfect for spring—$40 (regularly $100+), strappy python heels for $70 (regularly $500). The clearance stores boast a wide variety of cardigans, as well. If you don’t mind some light mending, you can nab a cardigan for about $12-20 (there are several cardigans there with missing or broken buttons, but have an extra button sewn inside). Some garments for sale merely have makeup stains that can be removed at home, or professional cleaned, for a fraction of what you would pay full price.

The difference between the two store locations?  While they have much of the same merchandise, the Wyndhurst location also has a small collection of wedding gowns, and many cocktail and bridesmaids dresses to choose from. They also have pieces from J. Crew’s Madewell line.

Here’s a glimpse at the types of items you’ll find on your visit. So take some time during the weekend to check out these locations, and keep an open mind while you shop. Your wallet will thank you!
