it’s that time of the week

All-girls school never appealed to me. It’s too much fun working with boys on projects and hearing their thoughts on social issues like reproductive rights and whether Britney should have her children taken away. But now that I work in an office with two fabulous ladies, it’s actually just as fun to see just how often we’re all on the same page. We agree that Jack Johnson is way cute, and that Century Gothic, although overused, is a great typeface.
We also make the same hygiene missteps every week after we stay up way too late to meet deadline. It usually involves forgetting to pack crucial clothing items for after the gym (okay mostly that’s me), but like clockwork we all just can’t be bothered to wash our hair. Thankfully a can of T3+Orlando Pita Refresh Volumizing Dry Shampoo found its way to our office. We don’t know how this waterless spray works, but it does. With some generous blasts at the roots around our faces and at the crown, our hair is transformed from limp and slightly greasy to bouncy and voluminous - a much easier and mess-free fix than a sprinkle of baby powder, which looks like dandruff in our dark hair anyway. Now if only our deadlines were as easy to tackle! $25, available at Sephora for dark and light hair.
