This month we feature our youngest cover woman ever—at just 17 Nicole Muller has made an impact all across the country. She began collecting food for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank at age 16 and what started as a way to help local needy families has grown into a national effort to feed the hungry. Her story shows that given a chance, kids can make a big impact! Read her story in today’s Charlottesville Woman magazine!

In this month’s fitness guide, check out E-Fit Dance at Shergold Studio. It’s sure to warm things up in your life these chilly months ahead!

We include a new survey question in the magazine and online. It will be up later today.

Charlottesville Woman magazine will recognize four area women in March at Quadruplicity conference in its first-ever 4 Under 40 Awards. Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 15. The 4 Under 40 Awards will honor young professional women who have made innovative strides in their professions and are making a positive impact on the Charlottesville community as a whole. The ladies need to be older than 21 and obviously under 40 years old as of Dec. 31. To nominate someone, visit this link.

Our next issue (publishing March 9) will launch a new Wii Fit contest (if you want to join email us!), new features in the front section of the magazine—including a day trip idea, crafty ideas and a fashion column from our area’s fashionista . Email us at for other ideas. We’d love to hear from you! We’re on Facebook and also, check out our every-other-week Women We Love blog posts (and other updates) at http://cwmag.dailyprogress.com! You can always follow us on Twitter @cwmag. Have a great winter!

(By The Way: I bought a snow blower so there will likely be no snow this winter…you’re welcome!—Terry)
