In the last issue we brought you the story of local mom Dr. Bonnie Straka of Albemarle Dermatology, whose passion for adoption brought four children from China into the family (click here to read the story).
Their newest and youngest child Luke, who came to Charlottesville in February, had open heart surgery this morning to combat his heart disease. Send good thoughs to the family, we’re all wishing Luke a speedy recovery!
