So You Think You Can Purr

In celebration of “National Adopt-a-Shelter Cat Month” and the 7th season of the hit summer series “So You Think You Can Dance,” the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is having a phenomenal “So You Think You Can Purr” cat adoption special.
For the entire month of June, all cats four months and older are only $7.00. Adopt your very own kitty dance coach in June and you’ll learn how to Purrouette, Meowmbo and do the Stray Cat Strut. The $7 adoption fee includes spay or neutering and all age-appropriate vaccines.
The SPCA has cats in all shapes, sizes, colors and personalities. They have the long and the lean speed racers, the more sedate pleasantly plump, the talkers and the curiosity seekers. They have the playful and the mischief makers. They also have have the queen bee and king tut personalities. There are torti’s, tabbies and tigers. Whatever suits your fancy, they are sure to have the perfect cat for you at the SPCA. This special also applies at the satellite adoption locations: Purrin at Pantops in the Pantops Shopping Center, the SPCA Rummage Store on Preston Avenue and PetSmart in the Hollymead Town Center. For the entire month of June all cats over the age of four months are just $7.

The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that provides a safe environment for the lost, abandoned and homeless animals of Charlottesville and Albemarle County and places them in good homes.The SPCA’s main campus is located at 3355 Berkmar Drive in Charlottesville and is open seven days a week from noon–6 p.m.
