The Women’s Initiative invites you to go in search of the goddess

Finding affordable mental health care for uninsured and underinsured women is difficult.  And in todayss economic downturn, the need for critical counseling services increases everyday as women and their families struggle with mounting problems.

The Womenss Initiative encourages you to join them on May 9 for GODDESS QUEST, a fundraising event that will help their nonprofit agency bring counseling and community outreach services to 1,000 women in 2009.

GODDESS QUEST attendees will work in teams to create improvisational videos on the downtown mall that capture their unique view of the goddess.  Intellectual riddles will frame their stories and guide each team as they go in search!  At the night’s end, each team’s short film will be judged and the best portrayal will be named the winner. The evening also includes an open bar, a delicious meal, and trophies.
