“I did kind of blink and it was 28-0,” said Virginia tailback Cedric Peerman, who scored the Cavaliers lone touchdown on a 1-yard run with 10:24 left in the game. “We just tried to refocus but we never could get back on track.”

Post your thoughts on the game.

Where does one begin?  If this were the first time we’d been in this situation, it would be tolerable, but we seem to find ourselves here increasingly frequently of late.

Among many other things, UVa football is suffering from having a mediocre HC who seems unwilling to adapt to failed plans and schemes…for instance ordinarily one might think that years of ineptitude and failure in defensive schemes (remember Frank Spaziani) and offensive playcalling (remember the 7-5 loss at UNC?)... might reult in change but that’s the problem with stubborness and nepotism…

In a $1.875 million/year head coach’s 8th year, the same old tired excuses just don’t fly any longer.  It should take more than a 2009-2010 Music City Bowl appearance to save this coaching administration, but given who we have running the overall show in UVa athletics it probably won’t make any difference.
