Palin busting loose of a sinking ship?

On CNN.com today is a story about Gov. Sarah Palin and increasing turmoil she is allegedly creating within the McCain camp. To view the story yourself, click http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/25/palin.tension/index.html.

The problem I see with this story is that not one Republican is quoted in the story, though many “unnamed” sources are used and quoted. That is just junk journalism and a news company such as CNN should know better.

Now, I do have to say that I’ve often considered it odd that Palin did go against the McCain group pulling out of Michigan. But maybe she felt like I did.
If he truly was a maverick, why did he turn tail and run? Why didn’t he stay and fight for what he believes is right?

It made me ponder what he would do as President: would he turn tail and run then too, unless he has the full weight of the U.S. military to back him up? Are his verbal negotiation skills that bad?

Then again, I remember the last debate between McCain and Obama.

I remember how when I was a teenager, getting lectured by one or other of my parents, I’d make facial gestures too, similar to McCain’s.
Funny thing was most of the time, my parents were right to be lecturing me about whatever subject it was.

So why did I make faces then?
Because I knew they were right (and couldn’t believe they actually were and I just didn’t want to admit it). Hmmm.

Anyway, perhaps it’s just that Palin is tired of being the token woman on an old, stale and traditional politician’s ticket?
