Charlottesville Lady Arm Wrestlers charity tournament
On the second Tuesday of every month, Charlottesville Lady Arm Wrestlers take over Blue Moon Diner, transforming it from a neighborhood eatery to a wrestling ring. Providing a riotous mash-up of theater and athleticism, the event raises money for a different woman-initiated local charity each month.
In April, the donations went to P.E.A.C.E. Scooter run by Alix Bryan, who wrestles under the name “Cowgirl Sady-istic.” Bryan will ride her scooter around the United States this summer tracing a peace sign-shaped route.
“Our attempt was to create an event where, like pro-wrestling, anything can happen,” said CLAW co-founder Jennifer Tidwell. Tidwell says the event transcends social boundaries, attracting kids, “big time arts patrons,” and Blue Moon regulars.
You would wan’t to mess around with those girls

Personally, I think I sense a little banana envy out there though. We may need a manners boot camp to correct our behavior.

This is amazing. The photo quality is top notch, capturing the fun & intensity is top notch, the audio editing is seamless. I’m your biggest fan. So freakin’ good! Thanks! And I apologize to Nurse Cheryl for misspelling her name in my photos 3 months in a row. I’ll make the due corrections.

What a delightful presentation. You captured the evening perfectly. I only apologize to my fans for the excessive smoking, drinking, and shouting at the CLAW event. Not very ladylike behavior. Perhaps these wrestling-types should enroll in my etiquette class at Sweet Briar. I could at least teach them how to cross their legs properly and to style their hair without the use of plastic bananas.
