Greene County demolition derby

Car lovers, drivers, and fans of destruction gather at the Greene County fairgrounds Saturday, August 9, 2008 for the demolition derby.  The derby pits stripped down cars against each other in a fight to the death.  Winners live to drive in the final round, losers limp off the playing arena with the aid of tow trucks and tractors.

Nice photo essay slide show extravaganza.
The Fonz once competed in a demolition derby. I think he may have almost died. But he didn’t because he’s was cool.
