Marching band’s Commonwealth Concert
The bands are holding the first-ever joint Commonwealth Concert at John Paul Jones Arena to warm up fans for Saturday’s annual football game. The concert is a show of skill and pride with roots in last spring’s tragic shooting rampage at Virginia Tech that ended with 32 slain students and the shooter dead by suicide.
