In a shocking reversal of fortune, Virginia blanked Maryland, 31-0, in front of an announced crowd of 50,727, snapping a two-game losing streak that included a disappointing 28-point loss at Duke.

I was so pleased for Coach Groh and the entire team last night.  They earned the win and deserve the accolades that come with such a smashing victory. I also attended the win at Maryland last year and that was a phenomenal feeling that I did not thing could be replicated. It was..last night at Scott Stadium.
