We knew we would lose this game and I think it will be good for the young players to know up front what a big time team plays like. I think it will show next week against a much inferior(to USC) team if playing a team such as USC was beneficial for us to play…I believe that Pete will be fine playing QB by seasons end if he has time. Although if he doesn’t have a great season he may be redshirting next year when Jameel comes back…I agree with Michael Younger that we have the best QB on our team playing D. I have been begging nad pleading for Vic Hall to have a chance. Why why why not give the man a chance? He broke every QB/Offensive record in VHSL history. At worst, he can scramble and make “something” happen when he doesn’t have time or the receivers to throw it to. With a young team/young line out there, playing Vic would just make sense. Remember Hagans? Remember what Tyrod Taylor did to us last year? Look at Pat White? Remember Joey Hamilton destroying us for years? Remember the Vick boys? Remember we wanted Ronald Curry? Remember what Aaron Brooks did once Welsh actually let him Scramble? Remember Jameel at his best? What else needs to be said?

We are just not ready to play at the level USC plays at. They are like a pro team playing against a Little League team. This loss can be laid at the feet of Al Groh for scheduling someone we have no prayer of playing with. I’m a big Hoo fan but, man, you got to know your limitations. Now we get to go out there in 2010 and do it all over again. BShoemaker

Va quarterbacks are terrible. Uva has quarterback that plays on defense. The best QB in Va high school history. As I watch the game yesterday, They could have use him in that position. (Vic Hall) Al Groh needs to give him a chance. He is short, but that shouldn’t matter. Look at Marcus Hagans. Give him a chance. Mike from Germantown
