It’s easy to crash and burn on a bike. It’s easy to fall down, tip over, over-brake in an emergency, drop the bike….It’s easier to do all of that when you’re drinking.

URPing causes WOE, which means we’re LOOPing until we’re, well, in an interesting boat economically. It’s the new ABCs of measuring and predicting the economy and now we can all play.

Throughout history, dogs have been heralded as the friend of mankind, beneficent, loving and caring creatures. In the meantime, cats are known for, well, um, eating and despoiling furniture, attacking birds at the birdfeeder…. you know where this is going, but come in and read about the baby-saving dog in Argentina, anyway…

With the Russians acting like tsarists or the old Soviet order and the Chinese economy run by the Emperor-by-committee that is their communist party, the two world superpowers are showing that they have what it takes to lead, even if we don’t like where they’re taking us. The question for us, then, is how do we pull ourselves together and rebuild strengths we once had into strengths that all of us can share? 

Now and then, in the annals of criminal justice, someone comes along who makes moot all arguments against the Death Penalty, a poster boy, if you will, for state-sanctioned killing. Just don’t think of it as killing someone because of his crimes, think of it as protecting the rest of us from future crimes.
