Casualty of War
U.S. Army National Guard Lt. Col. Richard J. Berrettini, 52, of Wilcox, Pa., died Jan. 11 in San Antonio.
Lt. Col Berrettini, of the Pennsylvania National Guard, was wounded Jan. 2 in Khowst Province, Afghanistan, when his vehicle was blasted by an improvised explosive device.
The announcement was released today by the Department of Defense.
