Finding the Cure

Remember that killer bacteria that’s out there infecting us, the one you get from hanging out in high schools, meeting people in public and, especially, being treated in a hospital? Yeah, the one that can’t be killed by your basic antibiotic, that killed a Virginia youth a month or so ago and sickened a bunch of Chesterfield high schoolers.

The bacteria that, if you get it, you need to get immediate medical attention in a medical facility, which is the most likely place to get in the first place.

Well, nothing to worry about because health officials say they’ve got the cure: Pamphlets, videos and books.
Yep, there’s nothing to fear from the nasty bug because we can arm ourselves with education!

I wish I was making this up.

How do we prevent getting killed by a germ-resistant bacteria strain? Wash our hands. Don’t share towels or razors. Don’t poop out on your antibiotics, take all of them. Wash your uniform and gym gear in hot water after every use. Get medical treatment (see panicked comment above) as soon as possible if you have a wound that’s not healing.

Gee, I feel better already!
