Party for Guard Families
I’m feeling so Bill Slowsky: Tomorrow, Dec. 15, is the day of the Charlottesville Veterans of Foreign War Christmas party being tossed for families of A Company, 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade, 29th Infantry Division, known better as the Monticello Guard, deployed in The Baghdad Sandbox.
I screwed up the date in a column last week and just discovered it when I retrieved a lost voice mail. The party is on Saturday at the River Road post from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Santa will be there and entertainment, refreshments, and gifts will be served. The Ladies Auxiliary is tossing the gig and would love to have the families at the annual celebration.
My apologies and/or my bad.
