Charlottesville tabs head football coach
According to the Daily Press in Newport News, Charlottesville High has found a head coach for the football program. Smithfield High football coach Chris Fraser will take over the reins from retired head coach Garwin DeBerry.

Albemarle boys lacrosse stays unbeaten in Commonwealth
Following a double overtime victory on the road at North Stafford on Wednesday, Albemarle returned home to knock off Mountain View 15-3 on Thursday and remain undefeated on the season (11-0, 9-0 Commonwealth District).
