All Group AA volleyball team

The All Group AA volleyball awards have been doled out and two local players -- Western Albemarle's Sarah Harper and Fluvanna County's Kayla Walker -- have earned all state accolades.

Elder, Gomez and Ragland collect All State honors

Albemarle's Kara Elder and Laura Gomez added another accolade to their list of outstanding high school volleyball achievements, as they both earned first team All Group AAA honors. Albemarle's Mark Ragland was selected as the state's top coach.
