Louisa County, in its third trip to the Myrtle Beach tournament, posted a 3-2 record during the Grand Strand Softball Classic with wins over Logan High School (West Virginia) Charleston Catholic (West Virginia) and Myrtle Beach.
“Ashley threw the ball well – she had control of her pitches all day,” said Albemarle coach Bill Hutchinson. “She keeps us in the game, and we’ll scrape and scramble to get a run or two.”
