Manilla falls in third set

Western Albemarle’s Joey Manilla dropped the second and third sets of his semifinal battle with Eliot Mee down at Radford on an oppressively hot morning. Daily Progress reporter Jay Jenkins will have the full story in the print edition of Friday’s Daily Progress.
Manilla isn’t done yet down at the VHSL AA Jubilee. The sophomore will play in the doubles and team events starting tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. at Virginia Tech.
