Western Albemarle wins Wachovia Cup title
According to the Virginia High School League, Western Albemarle is the top sports program in the state’s AA classification.
The Warriors, spurred by four state titles in field hockey, outdoor boys track, indoor boys track and boys tennis, were tabbed as the winner’s of the VHSL’s Wachovia Cup Tuesday morning.
