Good news for those who didn’t get tickets to Shannon Worrell’s sold-out CD release party and benefit concert at Live Arts tonight.
The concert has been moved off the rooftop and down to the main stage, which means there will be more room for fans.
So come on out and listen to her play.
“The Honey Guide” is Shannon’s fourth full-length CD—she has had songs featured on other compilations—and her first in eight years. I’ve heard it, and it is darn good. I know many of you may have heard her performing in Paris Match or September 67 or as a solo artist back in the day, so you know she has the pipes. If you haven’t had the pleasure, here’s your chance to sample another homegrown talent and support community theater. Proceeds from tonight’s show will benefit Live Arts.
Megan Huddleston opens the show at 7 p.m. Shannon, accompanied by a full band of friends, will follow.
Tickets are $15.
Log on to http://www.livearts.org to make your purchase.
See you at the show.
