No fashion like snow fashion

Flannel is favored over cotton. Jeans are hot. Slacks are not.
Don’t even talk about ties.
Did you ever notice how the dress code flies out the window when the snow starts to fall?
I can understand the boots. But tennis shoes?
Do sweatshirts really keep us warmer than wool sweaters?
Maybe we just need to be a little more comfortable when we brave the drive to work.
Maybe it’s because those in charge left early, if they came in at all.
So does it matter if our hair is neatly parted or standing straight up?
Not as along as there isn’t a mirror on my desk.
Be safe — and comfortable — out there.
