You are warned: Tthe Albemarle County Police Department, with help from the Albemarle County Sheriff’s Office, will be looking to write you a ticket. It’s called Operation Seminole Trail Slowdown and it’s focusing on U.S. 29 from Rio Road to Proffit Road. They’re paying especially close attention to the 45-mph zone around Forest Lakes and they are out in force.
