The clock has been set to eight minutes and the teams are lined up.
Here come the starting lineups and both crowds are very loud. (Though the Freedom student section is much bigger than Lee’s)
Sorry, but I got to get this out. In the front row of the R.E. Lee student section have their chests painted and they’ve been told by local police, yes, they sent police over to tell them this, that they can’t take their shirts off to show off the body paint.
It’s small, but they go here just in time as the Lee Ladies are chating off to the side as they prepare to enter the court.
Lee has a large contingent here already as the pregame clock hits 28 minutes to tip.
Toggling between the butt-numbing bleachers and standing against a fence, I watched Justin Verlander give up one hit and lose to Clarke County. I watched Jake Peeling wrap his dad in a hug after pitching a no-hitter.
