The phone call I got was good. Nothing wrong with it at all.
Just a Waynesboro boys soccer fan calling (and not leaving his name, but it’s fine because his call was the right way to do it) letting me know that I made the wrong choice Tuesday by deciding to head out to the Wilson boys soccer game instead of Waynesboro boys’ win over Western Albemarle.

If Pickle Nuckol’s name looked good written in gold on a black hoodie, then teammate Boone Jones’ name rolled off the tongue with ease.
Jones, who played football with Nuckols as a defensive back and wide receiver and was greeted with chants of “Boooooooooone” by fans after each play he made, said late Monday that Randolph-Macon College is “truly lucky to have Pickle for the next four years of his life.“

As far as I know, Buffalo Gap running back Pickle Nuckols has never lied to me. Never made any watch-me predictions of his yards. Never told me he planned to score five touchdowns in a game twice. Those things just kind of happened.
