Third quarter
Noboby is hitting shots to start the second half. We’ve got an airball, a missed layup and two turnovers.
Thompson misses a shot and LB turns it over on its way downcourt.
Mickens brings it up court, and misses a jumper.
LB misses a layup on the other end.
Mickens drives the lane and misses a jumper.
And, finally, LB hits the first shot of the second half for a 31-30 Cavalier lead.
Another Lee Lady turnover and LB brings it upcourt. Blaylock misses the long trey and it’s out of bounds and Lee’s ball.
Mickens, again, brings it up court. Kicks it to Thompson who hits a jumper. Lee up 32-31. McDonough steal, but she misses the shot but is fouled. With 3:49 to play, she takes the line and hits the first. Then misses the second.
Mickens misses a long jumper and Amanda Farmer hits the layup on the other end for a 35-33 LB lead. Daquaa Scott called for traveling and Hartman didn’t like that call one bit.
Blaylock hits a three to give the Cavs a 38-33 lead with 2:45 left to play in the third quarter and Hartman follows up with full time out.
Mickens cuts her way through the lane for two, cutting the LB lead to 38-35.
The Scott’s are owning it downlow for the Lee Ladies.
Mickens drains a 3 from the win to tie it up.
LB turns it over and it’s back in Lee’s hands with 1:32 left in the third.
LB’s Amanda Farmer drives, hits the floater and if fouled. She gives the Cavs a two-point lead, hits the freebie, now the lead in three.
Mickens misses a long trey and LB converts as Blaylock hits a three. This girls is wonderful to watch. LB up 44-38.
Kemani Crawford on the putback and it’s 44-40 to end the half with LB up.
