Third quarter
And the ball is is Freedom’s hands.
Porter opens the quarter with a jumper in the land and Freedom keeps the press on and Lee turns it over.
So we’re heading back Freedom’s way. Porter brings it up, she misses and Lee pushes it.
Offensive rebound for Lee, and Daquaa Scott is fouled in the lane. She’ll shoot two. She misses the first, and the second.
Freedom brings it upcourt, Buchanan is fouled in the lane and she’ll shoot two. She misses the first and hits the second. Now 40-16 Freedom.
Thomas takes a long two and its no good, Freedom on the break and a miss.
Lee pushes it up, and Thomas puts up an airball. K. Scott replaces D. Scott for Lee.
Thompson layup misses, and Porter chucks up an airball, but it stays in Freedom’s hands.
K. Scott with a block, and she misses on the other end.
Porter fade and a miss. Mickens turns it over in the lane, and Buchanan with a layup.
Hartman calls a timeout. He’s going with a full.
Mickens brings it up, and she hits a layup.
Freedom ball, and Porter misses and it’s out. Lee ball.
Mickens pushes it, misses the layup and it’s back to Freedom.
K. Scott has her hands full with Buchanan posting her up. Lee foul and Dionna Scott heads to the line for Freedom. And TV stops the game again.
Dionne Scott hits the first and misses the second and it’s out on Lee. So Freedom is keeping it and Buchanan puts it in for two.
Lee turns it over in the lane and Freedom pushes it up. Dionna Scott works it around the perimeter as the Eagles slow this game down with 2:20 to play in the third. The Eagles take a 30-second timeout and their student section erupts as the TV camera puts them on the jumbotron.
Freedom inbounds it and turns it over. The Eagles showing press as Lee inbounds and they break it. Daquaa Scott is fouled on the layup try and she heads to the line with 1:49 left in the third down 45-18. She hits the first and makes the second as well.
Now it’s 45-20 Freedom with under 1:30 left to play.
Eagles turn it over, Scott inside move an a miss. Tie up down low and the arrow is pointing Freedom’s way.
Under a minute left and Buchanan misses and Lee drives but Mickens turns it over in the lane.
Freedom returns the turnover favor with 38.3 left. The Eagles keep the press on and it nets a turnover.
Scott defensive board, Kemani Crawford beats the buzzer with a putback. That’s how we’ll end it and with eight minutes left in this game it’s Freedom 45, Lee 22.
