This rule is bunk

Sorry, but I got to get this out. In the front row of the R.E. Lee student section have their chests painted and they’ve been told by local police, yes, they sent police over to tell them this, that they can’t take their shirts off to show off the body paint.

Really, folks? You got to be kidding me. It’s a group of high school kids showing their support for their school. They’re well behaved, just loud, and these guys can’t show off their body paint.

What a joke. In this day and age we give kids so much garbage and dump on them any and every chance they get. And now, here we have a group of kids who love this girls basketball team and just want them to win a state title today and are telling them they can’t show off their school colors because their painted on a group of kids’ chests.

VHSL, get real. Are you not making enough money off the athletes and student? What are they doing wrong.

This rule is an absolute joke.

Well, the good news is the scoreboard finally has taken down “Generals” and put up “R.E. Lee” so at least the Lee Ladies have that going for them.
