New tourism Web site launches

Greater Augusta Regional Tourism has launched a new marketing effort designed to attract more visitors to Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County.

The effort includes a new Web site, logo and advertising campaign. The new Web site, offers a list of 22 reasons to visit the central Shenandoah Valley, went live just before 12 p.m. Wednesday.

The site also provides options on what to do, where to stay, where to eat, where to meet and how to get here.
