Short-term water service cut on 100 block of N. Delphine Thursday

Contractors plan to shut down the water service on the 100 block of North Delphine Avenue in Waynesboro from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. this Thursday, Jan. 29 to tie the service lines to the new main.

The work, according to a notice on the city’s Web site, should only affect 100 block businesses and residences.

Also, construction of new traffic lights, along with a new traffic pattern, is going up at the intersection of Hopeman Parkway and Monroe Street. The project has an expected April 2009 completion date.
