The Economy: A Four-Letter Word

It pretty much sounds like a four-letter word: the economy.

Two more stories appear on our front today about it - one talking about the Waynesboro City Council passing water, sewer and trash rate hikes, and another about Vector Industries working to find a solution for families wanting to save on their water bills.

And, as you may have heard on some of the national newscasts, the economy is also affecting what charities and non-profits are receiving, and we’ve got that covered today too with news of the United Way of Greater Augusta projecting to be off its goal by 30 percent.

Vice Mayor Frank Lucente is asking people to make their own cuts. Are you doing so? And if so, where are you cutting back?
