So I’ve been saying for a few weeks now that, given the Virginia basketball team’s lack of depth, I wouldn’t be surprised to see walk-on Doug Browman play some meaningful minutes this season.

Here’s what Virginia coach Tony Bennett had to say on the subject—plus his thoughts on Sammy Zeglinski’s recent play and 2012 recruit Justin Anderson, who, coincidentally, was a high school teammate of Browman’s at Montrose Christian.

Browman drained a 3-pointer in four minutes against Maryland on Saturday.
