Announcers

These ESPN2 announcers are way over the top. You’d think they were broadcasting the last 30 seconds of an Olympic gold medal game.
Mustapha Farrakhan’s spin move was nice, but it didn’t deserve the “Wow!“ that it received from the color man. That kind of enthusiasm should be reserved for LeBron James kind of plays.

Mamadi!

Wow! Mamadi Diane looks like he may have brought his ‘A’ game. Great block and transition dunk. Virginia needs him to play to his potential if they have any hope tonight.

Ralph III

I’ve only seen Minnesota’s Ralph Sampson III for a few minutes, but I’m already impressed. Why Virginia didn’t think he could play is beyond me!
At the very least, the guy looks like he can block shots—something UVa is extremely deficient in.
