Wrong, Hubert

Color man Hubert Davis just said that Sampson III didn’t go to Virginia because he didn’t want the pressure of following in his father’s footsteps. While there may be a little truth to that, the fact of the matter is that UVa never recruited Sampson III, believing he wasn’t physical enough to play in the ACC.
But he sure looked plenty physical a few seconds ago when he played good ‘D’ on Jerome Meyinsse!

Loose rims?

Anyone else notice how loose the rims in Minnesota appear to be? They really shake after just about any outside shot misses. Rims, by rule, are supposed to have uniform tightness.

Iverson!

I didn’t know Allen Iverson had a brother at Minnesota! Wonder how he feels about showing up to practice.
