An Old-Fashioned May Day returned to the Colonnades in Waynesboro again this year, hosted by A Fairie’s Circle. The event featured a traditional May Pole Dance, face painting, games and crafts. Children made crafts, like May baskets and fairy wands, and attendees enjoyed traditional Welsh music by a live band. A Fairie’s Circle proprietor Mary Kirby estimated an attendance of around 40. “We’ve had another great celebration this year,” Kirby added. “Everybody’s had fun.”
