Remembering Hamburger Frank’s
Hamburger Frank’s asked customers to “pay what it is worth to you” while operating as Virginia’s “most unusual restaurant” in the 1950s and 60s at 106 W. Main St., on the banks of the South River. Ramona Gordon and Sharon Underwood, whose parents ran the restaurant, share their memories in this audio slideshow.
Gordon is seeking stories and photographs of the restaurant and would like to arrange interviews. Information can be sent to Ramona Gordon, P.O. Box 591, Fishersville, VA 22939.
