DAR January Meeting Talks WW II Published: January 18, 2012 The Point of Fork Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met at the historic Fluvanna County Courthouse for its January meeting. Bruce “A.J.” Stouffer, a member of the Peter Jefferson Chapter of the Children of the American Revolution, presented a program on “An American Perspective of World War II.” He talked about Pearl Harbor, Iwo Jima and Hiroshima. Eric Lee, a foreign exchange student from Korea who is staying with the Stouffer family, added comments about the Asian perspective of the defeat of the Japanese by the United States and its effect on Korea.
