Published: November 23, 2011

In early 2012, Fluvanna County will unveil its new Online GIS, which is being developed by Richmond-based Timmons Group.
The new website, which will not require additional funding, will provide county employees, residents, businesses and others with easy access to aerial photography, topographic data, street-level imagery, property assessment data, zoning maps and other information. Users will be able create their own maps and generate property reports, and a variety of tools will allow them to gather information easily and efficiently. This modern system is designed to be dependable, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing.

The current Online GIS will continue to be available to county residents through early 2012. Stay tuned for updates regarding the new site’s public unveiling.
